OMAHA - An autographed ukulele that Warren Buffett used to play failed to attract a bid in a high-priced online auction.
An Omaha man tried to sell the instrument for at least $100,000 or one Class A share of stock in Buffett's company, Berkshire Hathaway Inc.
Buffett, who is Berkshire's chairman and CEO, plays the ukulele in his free time. He autographed and auctioned off this instrument in 2005.
The ukulele's owner, who wants to remain anonymous, says he may try to sell the instrument again later, but he is not in a rush to part with it.
A custom ukulele autographed by Buffett was auctioned off for $11,211 in 2006.
