OMAHA, Neb.
An Omaha man is going to try to auction off one of Warren Buffett's ukuleles online for at least $100,000 or one Class A share of stock in Buffett's company.
Buffett, who is chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, plays the ukulele in his free time. He autographed and auctioned off this instrument in 2005.
The ukulele's owner, who wants to remain anonymous, plans to offer the instrument on the online auction site eBay for a week starting Friday night.
The ukulele's owner plans to donate part of the proceeds to the Omaha Press Club's scholarship fund, but the owner may be aiming too high with the price.
A custom ukulele autographed by Buffett was auctioned off for $11,211 in 2006.
