CNBC: Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Cuts Moody's Stake To 13.5% As Stock Sales Continue

Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway has cut its stake in Moody's to 13.5 percent after selling another 3.5 million shares of the credit rating agency.

A new filing tonight (Monday) with the SEC lists a series of sales Thursday, Friday, and today at an average price of $26.10. Total raised for the three days: $90,187,012.

Last week, Berkshire revealed it had reduced its Moody's stake to just below 15 percent by selling over 2.7 million shares on Monday, December 7 and Tuesday, December 8.

That means Berkshire has sold shares on five of the past six trading days. They are the first sales since late October.

So far in December, Berkshire has sold a total of 6.2 million shares for almost $158 million.

Since the sales began in late July, Berkshire has shed over 16 million shares, raising almost $426 million.
