Billionaire investor Warren Buffett participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday for a Bucks County Quaker school's new library.
The ribbon was cut for the George School's Mollie Dodd Anderson library by philanthropist Barbara Dodd Anderson and 12-year-old granddaughter Mollie-- the library’s namesake.
Mrs. Dodd Anderson made a $5 million donation for the library. Warren Buffett was asked to speak about Mrs. Dodd Anderson’s late father, renowned economist David Dodd, who was Buffet's mentor and friend:
"I was doing fine intellectually but I needed a lot of people emotionally and here was a wonderful man, who believed in me. You know the strongest force in the world is unconditional love if you get that things work."
Mrs. Dodd Anderson is a 1950 graduate of the school. She made a record donation a couple of years ago to the school for $128.5 million.
