BRUSSELS, July 15 (Reuters) - Berkshire Hathaway (BRKa.N: Quote, Profile, Research), controlled by U.S. billionaire Warren Buffett, and German reinsurer Munich Re (MUVGn.DE: Quote, Profile, Research) won European Commission clearance on Tuesday jointly to buy Global Aerospace Managers Ltd (GAUM).
"The Commission's investigation found that after the transaction they will continue to face sufficient competitive constraints from both current and potential suppliers," the EU competition watchdog said in a statement.
GAUM acts as an agent for aerospace insurance and provides management services to aerospace insurance operations. (Reporting by David Lawsky; edited by Philip Blenkinsop)
